Harry Potter Book Set

The entire set of Harry Potter books consists of seven volumes and are titled as follows:
Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, a.k.a., Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

While single-handedly returning a generation of children to the practice of reading books, this series has also done very well on film. The adventures of the young wizard, Harry Potter and his fellow wizard students, Ron and Hermoine, are so captivating that many families are purchasing this entire set of fiction, and holding it in the same esteem normally reserved for Austen, Alcott, Wharton or Hemingway. Elementary, middle and high school libraries are also keeping complete sets available for their student bodies.

These boxed sets can approach $200.00 in price. Of course, the hardbound editions and container boxes are the best quality and designed to be handed down from one generation to another. However, as with all things these days, families with savvy shoppers would be well served by shopping online for discounted sets, or at the very least, enrolling in shopper loyalty programs offered by these retailers. The result could be a savings of almost 50% off of list price! If budget constraints make even that discount prohibitive, it may be best to consider paperback Harry Potter boxed sets, which retail for well under $70.00.
